Conclave

Around forty members of our lodge attended conclave this year. The weekend was fun packed and there was not a dull moment to be had.
The Ceremonies team took first place in both the pre-ordeal, and brotherhood ceremonies and swept away the other lodges a went on to take all the ceremony awards.
The owls nest took 2nd place in the newsletter competition.
In the lodge advisers cook off Eric Shea and his team took the award for best presentation.

In the section elections Josh Peloquin got elected to the position of Section Chief and Derrick Bransby was elected to Section Vice Chief. Congratulations to both of them.

Thanks to all those who made the weekend a success and Wunita Gokhos would like to thank Tukahoe for an awesome weekend.

Openings

There are currently several lodge committee positions that are opening up or will be opening up in the next year. We are looking for people willing to help out in the lodge and become more active in the committees. We need people to help out because without you youth helping out and being active there is no lodge.

OA Ocean Adventure

In 2011 the Lodge is planning on going to the Florida sea base to take part in the new Ocean Adventure Program. Email Database

The Lodge is looking at the electronic media as a way to better communicate with its members. With an email list we can send notices out about upcoming events, reminders of deadlines, and let you know when the Owls Nest is posted on the website. Vigil Honor Database Project

The Vigil Honor Committee is starting work on a history of all Vigil honor members in our Lodge. We have some records and you may be on it, but to be sure, please fill out the form and send it in. Once we have a collection of names started we will post the list on the website. Vigil Project Form.
